The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Wasit University organized a scientific visit to the Technical Institute in Kut, with the participation of fourth-year students.

The visit aims to see the scientific laboratories at the Technical Institute (microbiology lab, blood laboratories, diseases and germs) in order to get acquainted with many laboratory devices as well as diagnose many microbial samples using traditional diagnostic methods and modern commercial methods such as API and PCR.

The visit also included the exchange of information between the college and the institute and opening the field of cooperation between the two institutions to support the scientific and research aspect and the exchange of scientific experiences, which is in the interest of students.

It is noteworthy that the visit took place under the supervision and organization of professors, d. Ali Fayyad, Assistant to the Administrative Dean, Dr. Ali Khalaf, the Scientific Associate, Eng. Donia Talib Mahdi, Associate Professor Zahraa Issa Kazem, with the support of Professor Dr. Zafer Hussein, and in the presence of professors, d. Tariq Mahdi, head of the department, Professor Dr. Ali Fadel, the department rapporteur, Dr. Khaled Al-Zamili, Ms. Mays, responsible for the bacteriology laboratory.
