The Guidance and Counseling Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Wasit University conducted an awareness campaign as part of the Afforestation Week. The campaign aims to highlight the importance and objectives of afforestation among students, encouraging them to participate in afforestation efforts and raise environmental awareness to create a healthy and clean environment by reducing pollutants through the release of oxygen by plants and the absorption of carbon dioxide. It also aims to demonstrate the aesthetic value that plants bring to university facilities, colleges, and residential areas.
